Personal Training

The finest Personal Training in the area, we base our training on our Health and Fitness assessment. This nearly 90 minute session allows us to cultivate a wealth of information about your health, injuries, medications and family history. We use a state of the art Futrex near-infrared body fat analyzer to accurately measure your body composition and then we perform the physical test on you that helps us evaluate your core strength, muscle control, posture, gait and flexibility. From here, based upon your goals we can custom design a workout plan for you to meet those goals. Sessions are 30 minutes and 45 minutes in length and there are no package requirements and no minimum amount of sessions to purchase. Simply pay as you train. Boot Camps!

What do you get when you combine a fitness trainer with a background in sports and rehab and 10-12 individuals looking for a fast paced but highly effective and safe workout? You get the famous Sun Fitness Boot Camp! We offer this class in six week sessions throughout the year. The classes run from 5:45 am -6:30 am MWF and are just the thing to shake you out of that fitness funk you have been in. All levels of fitness ability can participate as the class is designed to let you progress at a rate that is safe and effective for you. Be prepared to use medicine balls, Swiss balls, rubber tubes, jump ropes and whatever else we can throw at you! We take RSVP’s as this class always sells out.

SwingFlex* Golf Conditioning Program

A golf conditioning program based on common sense. We train your body to develop flexibility and balance throughout the swing plane. Fixed position machines are not used since they only develop superficial strength and can potentially lead to muscular imbalances that inhibit the swing. We use rubber tubes, weighted balls, balance discs and the best piece of fitness equipment ever designed- your body- to make you a more efficient hacker- err, golfer! Get to the green without walking through the rough.

   

Post Partum Reconditioning

Get the abs back the way they were before your little bundle of joy stretched them out! We have been working with pregnant women and new moms for over 10 years and we can get you back to where you want to be safely and effectively. Once your OB/GYN gives you the green light to exercise, give us a call and we will help you rediscover the physique you had! We gladly work with your medical professional to ensure safety for you and your child.

Fitness Challenge

10-12 motivated individuals needed to lose body fat, lose pounds and inches, gain flexibility and develop stamina. Isn’t that everyone? Well, we are going to take the average Joe or Jane and teach them in eight weeks how to run a 5k race. That’s 3.1 miles and yes, you can do this. We have a nearly 100% success rate in this program and all of those clients said they couldn’t run or heard that running was bad for them too! This is not a speed class so if you can currently run more than a mile comfortably, then this is not for you. Doctor permission is required and due to the physically challenging nature of the program, individuals with heart ailments, bad knees and/or bad ankles are not permitted. A 64 day exercise and food journal, pre-class and post-class body fat analysis, a weekly exercise guide and planner and stretching handouts are provided in the registration fee. Just bring your water bottle, your enthusiasm, good running sneakers and a desire to be the person you are capable of being! Starting date: TBA

We are your stretching specialists. Everybody could use more flexibility in their bodies but with all of the different and misleading information that is available out there, how do you know what is best for you? Let us figure that out! Based on your activity demands and your lifestyle, we can determine what type of stretching (Active Isolation, PNF, Isometric, Ballistic, and Static to name a few of the varieties available) will be the most beneficial to you. We even specialize in stretching weekend warriors before they head out to the links for that Friday afternoon “meeting with clients” (wouldn’t look good if you pulled your hamstring at a “meeting”, would it?). A more flexible body is a healthier, more injury resilient machine.
